Calls are billed per second, and failed calls are never charged. FAQ ## Billing **questions** ### How exactly is a call charged? By the second, rounded up to the paisa, from your prepaid credits. On Starter a phone call costs ₹5.50 a minute with the default models, telephony included; premium models cost more, and the console shows their price before you pick one. Only the time the call is connected counts: a call that isn't answered, or fails, costs nothing. ### Is GST included in the prices? No. Prices are before GST, which is added at 18% when you buy credits. You get a tax invoice for every purchase. ### Do credits expire? No, not while your account is open. New workspaces start with ₹250.00 of free credits. Bought credits aren't refundable except as the refund policy describes, and free credits have no cash value. ### How do monthly plans work? A plan's fee is taken from your credits at the start of each 30-day cycle and includes minutes for that cycle. Calls use the included minutes first; after that each minute is charged at the plan's lower rate. Unused minutes don't roll over. ### Can I change plans in the middle of a cycle? Yes, at any time in the console. The new plan starts a new 30-day cycle on the day you switch, and the unused part of the old cycle isn't refunded. ### What else is charged besides calls? A phone number costs ₹500.00 a month, taken from your credits. Truecaller verified caller ID, if you ask for it, costs ₹2,000.00 a month.
